Canary Call

There are strange noises that fill the entire world, ambient sound coming from all sides around you. if you go outside at any point of the day, you will hear this kind of sound, something that happens away from you but that you can still hear them, even see them if they're close to you. each of these sounds that the world makes are from living creatures, having various reasons for what caused such a sound.
sound in human beings is made through the Larynx, the teeth and tongue, going through the same process with much of the animals in the world. Sound goes into the eardrum of another creation as vibrations created from the larynx, its insane that parts of the body so small effects it so much. If you ever watch someone speak, you can see the way their tongue, their teeth and their lips moving in different ways, dialects and speech patterns showing you how that sound vibrates.

there are many uses for sound, things used by all kinds of animals including ourselves in order to transfer something important.

Communication

Honeybees are a strange creature, they constantly make that buzzing sound that you can hear when they get close, but they mostly communicate with each other through the use of pheromones they produce. But one thing they do is called the waggle dance, it is a strange song and dance where they vibrate their body in various directions in order for them to tell the other bees where they have seen pollen. its a strange thing as no one can seem to figure out what the shaking means and how it directs it other bees to the location where they find their pollen.

Humpback Whales are some of the most complex creatures on the planet, they along with dolphins and other porpoises and whales on earth make strange calls, talking to other members of their pods and attempting to speak with other animals. people believe that dolphins are believed to be as intelligent as human beings, some thinking even more, the sound humpbacks make have been studied for years to try and find a meaning to them and even sent them out to space during the Voyager Project to search for new life that might understand it. Underwater, vibrations are intensified, even through the air the sound of humpback whales are amazing to listen to as they sound like songs from a big band or a pop singing.

Defense

Those are Rattlesnakes, a snake people in the west can become very close to. Rattlesnakes want to be left alone, and they show this by that sound they make, that sound is make through the end of there tail where there name comes from. at the end of their bodies is a rattle made out of the remains of skin acquired over their lifetime, skin they received through shedding their old skin every few months.
The rattling is more of your defense then it is there's, showing you they don't want to be dealt with as the rattle is a warning to not come closer, or its going to attack. Something that you don't want to happen, as most rattlesnakes will mess up your entire body and can even kill you if your the unlucky sort.

Surrounding

Lions are frightening animals, they are the king of the jungle and their roar could send you going the other way. under the right conditions, a lions roar can be heard 5 miles away from where they are, the shear sound of it feels that if you were near him your entire bones would feel hurt from the vibrations going through your body. Lions roar for communication and territory, talking amongst their pride and marking their territory lines to other lions that might walk into where they call home.

There are animals who live where sight is not a possibility, there are moles who use their smell and touch in order to find things underneath the ground, there are creatures that use bio-luminescence in order to live underneath the sea in darkness of what we cannot see, then there are bats. Bats are tiny mammals who live in the caves and move across the night sky with very little ability to see in the dark. The way they do see is through something called echolocation, the ability to perceive something through the use of high-pitched screeches they emit to see what is in front of them. the sound waves bounce off the object in front of the bat and when it returns, it can understand how far it is away from him and tell what it is through what little visibility it does have.

Mating

Birds are the most common animals to give off ambient noise, most of the time, these calls are in order to communicate and for mating with another bird. There are some birds like geese and ducks that mate for life, only having one bird for them and they believe that wholeheartedly. Every so often you can see geese sitting on the side of a road because there is another dead geese next to it, 9 out of 10 times, that is their partner in life and it can almost kill that bird because of heartbreak.

Then there's other birds that the males attempt to woo as many females as they can each mating season in order to reproduce. The biggest group of these birds are called the Birds of Paradise, multiple species of birds where the men attempt to impress their mates with song, color scheme and sometimes dance. The Birds of Paradise use various forms of plumage added to their feathers, odd tendrils that come out of their body and some of the most colorful designs in the animal kingdom. The Birds of Paradise use songs and various sounds that will attract the females for them to mate with.

This is the Lyrebird, he is a Bird of Paradise that has the ability to mimic any sound that it hears during the year and will use them during his mating call in order to attract a female. Lyrebirds have been know to listen for human noises, recording them in their mind so that they can use them in their mating call to make sure that he is chosen by his girl instead of another.

Just plain odd

Look at that little creature, Peacocks are one of those Birds of Paradise that is bigger than most of the others. Peacocks make one of the weirdest sounds, they have their giant plumage and their colorful feathers, all in an attempt to attract the peahens they hope to court with.

Giraffe's are weird guys, they have the same number of vertebrates as humans do but they are just longer. Every time I hear people ask what giraffe's sound like and they kind of tell it like a sheep or a goat, but they don't sound anything like that. I can't really tell what it sounds like, but it doesn't really sound like what normal goats or sheep sound like.
